Client stories
Specific notes from payment and finance teams who commissioned conversion comparison work — including one reservation we still appreciate hearing.
Wallet button vs contactless — Midlands catalogue retailer
“We asked BrookWay App to compare wallet completion against contactless card for a six-week window. The charts made the gap obvious in our Tuesday ops stand-up. I wish they had pushed harder for a follow-up cut by basket size — we added that ourselves later — but the core comparison saved us from turning off the wallet prompt too early.”
— Priya N., ecommerce operations
Open-banking pilot — Cardiff specialty foods
“Their regional mix review showed our Welsh traffic converted better on bank-rail than our London sample. The sample for Scotland was thin and they said so in bold type, which kept us from over-claiming in a supplier meeting.”
— Dylan R., finance manager
Board briefing after an internal mess of spreadsheets
“We already had the numbers; we needed someone to stop the slide deck from becoming a spreadsheet with clip art. The leave-behind page is still pinned near the kettle. Mild gripe: the first draft used a red that printed muddy on our office printer — they swapped it within a day.”
— Helen S., commercial director
Extended story: acquirer renewal for a homewares chain
A national homewares retailer approached us eight weeks before an acquirer renewal. They offered cards, one wallet, and a rarely used bank-transfer option. Our flagship study compared authorisation and completed-order rates across those three rails, then added a device cut. The pack showed the bank-transfer option converting poorly on mobile while remaining acceptable on desktop — enough evidence to keep it available but move the prompt lower on small screens. The wallet held conversion within a narrow band of card, which justified keeping the button despite higher scheme fees discussed in the renewal.
The finance team used the annotated charts in a single ninety-minute session; no secondary dashboard was required. They later commissioned a funnel visualisation pack for a supplier day.
